Taste of Home Cooking Show

Hi everybody! Last night I went to a "Taste of Home" cooking show in Norton, Va. My loving aunt bought me a ticket as an early birthday gift, and we had such a great time! She got us VIP tickets, so we sat right up front and also got an AWESOME cookbook (with over 700 recipes) and an apron with our names on it.

Anybody who knows me knows that I LOVE aprons. I have an apron rack hanging in my kitchen with aprons from all over!

(A couple I picked up while in Boston and Vegas)

Us at the show - my aunt Kathy, me, and my aunt's friend, Carlotta. On me: Target scarf (from my recent haul), Wal-Mart shirt, American Eagle Jeggings, Chinese Laundry Boots

Me and "Aunt Kaffy!"

As far as makeup goes, I went with a red lip and kept the rest of the look neutral.
MAC Cremestick Liner in Red Enriched and Russian Red lipstick. The PERFECT red lip.

Since I had so much color on my lips, I wanted a neutral blush, more of a muted color. I chose Tarte Amazonian Clay in Exposed.

Hoola Bronzer

Loreal Butterfly Mascara

Too Faced Boudoir Eyes Palette: In The Buff for browbone/inner corner highlight, Satin Sheets on lid, Voulez-Vous in crease. Definitely an underrated palette. I bought this at Sephora in Vegas when it first came out and OMGsh, it's been a favorite of mine ever since that very day. Urban Decay and Too Faced are my FAVORITE eyeshadows ever, period.

This probably doesn't even need mentioning, but just in case you were wondering. My foundation and powder I always use.

Alright guys, that just about does it. If you enjoy cooking or the Food Network or whatever, then I highly recommend going to one of these shows. It was so much fun and so entertaining! The chef said that you can go to the Taste of Home website to see if there is a show coming to your area, as well as for recipes and lots of other great stuff. Hope you enjoyed and any questions/comments leave 'em below. Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day! Muah!
