MOTD: MAC Cinderella Stroke Of Midnight Palette

Hey guys!  Quick makeup of the day!  I did this look a few weeks ago and enjoyed it so much that I did it again just a few days ago.  A neutral smokey eye (what else) while keeping everything else very light and simple.

This "matte" powder foundation is not really matte on my skin.  Definitely gives a glow.  As with most powder foundations, if you have large pores this can highlight them.  But, if you take your time and really buff this into the skin they go away.  Great coverage and goes on super fast.  You really have to be careful with using liquid/cream products on top of this (undereye concealer or concealers period).  I've also noticed if my eyes water you can see the tracks of my tears in this makeup lol.  But overall a really good product and I do like it.  Looks so natural on the skin.

I have had this bronzer for forever now and recently pulled it back out to try and start using it more frequently.  It's a very pretty bronzer and I enjoy using it.  Doesn't really beat my Marc Jacobs or Too Faced bronzers, but it is a really nice bronzer nonetheless.

For this look, since I did a really light/natural cheek (using the Luster blush seen below) I used just a swipe of this Laura Geller product over the cheeks for some added glow.  Such a pretty product!

Ugh.  Such a beautiful blush!  Warm and pretty, but more understated.  This is not a super bright pigmented blush.  Great for pairing with a smokey, dramatic eye.

And for my highlight I reached for my Lorac Spotlight powder.  I've always enjoyed this product, gives a beautiful glow without being glittery.  My favorite kind of highlight.

And for the eyes, I obviously used the MAC Cinderella Stroke of Midnight Palette.  This was limited edition, but 5 out of 6 of the shadows are in the permanent line, so you could easily re-create this palette if you wanted to!

Vapour, Phloof
Omega, Quarry
Satin Taupe, Stroke of Midnight (LE)

For the look I used Satin Taupe on my lid, mixed Omega and Quarry in my crease, used Vapour on my browbone, and Phloof on my tearduct.  I took Stroke of Midnight on the lower lashline and in my outer crease to smoke things out.  So quick and simple, I love this palette!

Thanks for stopping by today guys!  Have a great weekend!
Muuuaahhhhh!
