She has 350,000 followers on Twitter, so it means a lot that she replied to me. I have loved her work for so many years!
Here she is as one of my favorite characters, Erica Barry, from Something's Gotta Give with Jack Nicholson.
I first became a fan of hers when she played JC Wiatt in Baby Boom back in the 80's. I have such fond memories of watching that movie with my mom.
It was after I received her tweet that I was sitting on the couch and seen her on a commercial for Melanoma and skin cancer awareness. That meant so much to me and made me only respect her more, as I had melanoma when I was 26 years old. It's a very serious thing to have, and I don't think people are aware of just how deadly it can be.
She is using her platform to do good in this world, more reason to love her!
