January 2015 Drugstore Haul!

Hey guys!  Here are some things I picked up at the drugstore recently and thought I'd come on here and share them with you <3

I was so excited to get my hands on these that I did a whole other blog post on them.  You can see that here.  Anyways, this is the PF Shimmer Strips Extreme Shimmer Gel Cream Shadow & Liner Trio in Nude Eyes.  I totally love these, I cannot remember being so excited over a product at the drugstore.  Beautiful!!!

Maybelline has several new products out and I grabbed a few of them to try, the first being this primer.  It's the Master Prime Blur + Smooth.  I haven't tried it yet, so we will see how it does.

And of course I had to try the new Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless foundation!  I haven't used this yet, but I am hoping this performs as well as it's supposed to.  They didn't have the powder at my store, but I am planning on picking that up when I can find it.  From what I have heard, this foundation performs better when used in conjunction with the setting powder.

And lastly from Maybelline I picked up the new FaceStudio Master Conceal.  It's supposed to be a full-coverage concealer that has a lot of high reviews.  Again, I've not used this yet so the verdict is still out.  But, I am excited to give it a try.

I have several bottles of BBW or VS scented lotions in my stash, but on a daily basis I prefer using just a really moisturizing lotion on my body.  Something that is just really good for my skin, not a perfume-y type product.  For yearssssssss I have used the plain Daily Moisturizing Lotion by Aveeno (the one with the green nozzle), but this time I picked up a big ole bottle of their Skin Relief 24hr Moisturizing Lotion.  I love Aveeno products because they are so nourishing and moisturizing, and they are full of really good ingredients.  Definitely one of my top brands at the drugstore.

I snagged a couple of these deep conditioners by Aussie.  If you haven't ever tried these then you really, really should.  They are dirt cheap (like $2-$3) and they feel so nice in your hair.  Plus, they smell AMAZING.  I love the packaging on these as well, you just squeeze the tube and it squirts out the bottom.  They have several different varieties, I have always enjoyed the MOIST one and the SMOOTH one.  I use these as I would regular conditioner, as they are so cheap and affordable.

I've mentioned this oil in so many of my posts before, I use this EVERY SINGLE time I shower or bath.  Hands down the best body oil you will use.  If I am out of this, I won't shower until I have it.  I can't imagine showering and not having this!  I buy the big bottle (16oz I think) and it lasts for months.  I will tell you how I use this in case you are curious or are unfamiliar with this product.  After I get out of the shower and I am still wet (haven't toweled off yet), I wrap my hair up in a towel and immediately apply this. Just a little, a small squirt on each arm and each leg, then I rub it in all over my body (while my skin is still wet).  Then I towel off.  It leaves your skin so soft and supple without being greasy.  Lotion is totally optional after using this.  I have used this particular oil for at least 12-15 years or so.  Cannot be without it.

My favorite deep conditioner at the drugstore, the L'Oreal Total Repair 5 Damage-Erasing Balm (sorry so blurry!)  If you seen my 'Empties' blog post recently you know I finished up another one of these, so I had to pick up another.  I have several high-end ones, but I really like to have this on hand as well.  Where this one is cheaper and more readily available I find myself using it more often and I don't worry about using a ton of it when I apply it.  I like to really slap it on, lol.

If you follow my blog then you know I recently picked up (and since completely used up) the L'Oreal Total Repair EXTREME shampoo and conditioner.  I really, really enjoyed both of those products.  I had bought the smaller bottles (12oz I think) initially to see if I liked them, and since it was such a hit I bought this big bottle of the conditioner (25.4oz).  This conditioner is SO nice, just make sure you get the EXTREME one.

I hadn't ever seen this product at Walmart before, so I grabbed a bottle of the shampoo and conditioner.  It's the Schwarzkopf Essence Ultime Omega Repair & Moisture ones.

I have since tried these and I really like them.  They make your hair feel really soft and leave it smelling like perfume.

I have seen these Eye Makeup Corrector Sticks on several YouTube videos, but had never purchased any myself.  I got these specifically for when I do cat-eye liner, they seem to work great for really getting in there and getting a perfectly detailed look.  I read the 1 review online for this product (linked here) and that person said the ones they received were dried out.  Rest assured these are not, they are sopping wet with extra product in the bottom of the jar.

I go through these like you wouldn't believe.  They are in all of my "Haul" and "Empties" blog posts.  If you struggle with clogged pores on your nose and haven't tried these, then by all means, GO GET YOU SOME!  Make sure you get the ULTRA DEEP CLEANSING ones, they're the best.

I always use Bioderma to remove my eye makeup, but I have heard so many people mention how good the Equate brand OIL-FREE Eye Makeup Remover is.  I grabbed a couple of these to have on hand and will definitely give them a whirl.  I don't wear makeup every day, so I've not tried this yet.  But I am definitely looking forward to it!

And, I also picked up this double pack of the Equate EXFOLIATING Wet Cleansing Towelettes.  Again, I have never tried these but I hear so many good things about them.  My favorite cleansing cloths are the pink Ponds ones, so we will see how well these compare to those.  Made in the USA - woot!

These have a 5 star rating on Walmart's website.  I can't wait to try them.

I have been painting my nails like crazy lately.  Seche Vite top coat is the ONLY top coat there is.  Plain and simple.  If I didn't have this on hand, I would NOT waste my time painting my nails.  This is a crucial part in doing my manicure at home, as it makes such a difference in how long your manicure lasts.

I have mentioned this in a blog post before, see here.  This hair color is amazing - covers up your gray, doesn't dry your hair out.  Best part?  It's reusable!  Whatever product you don't use you can actually keep it to use at a later time.  I only use this at my roots to cover gray, I DO NOT put this all throughout my hair.  So, one bottle will last me at least 3 times.  Loveeeeeee this.

Alright guys, that's about it!  Let me know what products you are loving and if you have any of this stuff and what you think of them.  Thanks for stopping by!
Muuuaahhhh!
