Baublebar Solid Bar Y-Chain Necklace

Hey guys!  For years now I have been much more of a white gold or sometimes silver type of gal, but over the past couple of years I have started really enjoying my yellow gold pieces again.  I actually love mixing them together when I wear them - white gold diamond solitaire earrings, yellow gold necklace, stainless steel watch (silver in color), silver and gold tone Alex and Ani bracelets, etc.  I've mentioned before that I'm not much for costume jewelry, I prefer the pieces I wear to be of good quality and made to last.  Something I can wear forever if I just take proper care of it.  But, every now and then I find cheaper jewelry pieces that I really like (Alex and Ani, etc.), and today I wanted to share one with you.  It's the Solid Bar Y-Chain necklace from Baublebar.

Delicate and simple, this necklace is totally my style.

There are two options of where to latch the necklace, depending on how long you want it.  I plan on wearing this as long as it will go, as I have a large chest and it doesn't hang as low on me.  (Something to keep in mind if you are a busty girl too).

I really am a big fan of the Y-chain trend, and this one fits the bill nicely for me in terms of being what I've been looking for.  It is 14k gold plated, which is okay.  How I wish this was available in just plain 14k gold (hollow or solid)!  I really hope this holds up nicely because I think it's just beautiful.  I have 10 or less big/statement necklaces, everything else I own is delicate and simplistic.  I LOVE dainty, minimalistic jewelry, especially necklaces.  I think this will look good with just about anything, as you could totally dress it up or dress it down.  They have a few different varieties of this type of necklace, so if you are interested in getting one you should totally check them out.  I have a few other pieces of jewelry from Baublebar that I do enjoy, and this one will undoubtedly be my favorite yet.
