Random Beauty Haul!

Hey everyone!  Today I thought I would share some of the beauty items I have been gathering over the past month or so.  I've used all of these products at least a couple of times, and have really been enjoying them.  Maybe this will give you some ideas on various items you might be interested in trying!  First up are some items I have recently purchased from MAC that I am absolutely loving.

Tinted Lipglass in Florabundance, $15

If I wear makeup I generally tend to do a dramatic eye and a super simple lip, and I really love just swiping on a MAC Lipglass and going.  Florabundance is a gorgeous creamy nude-peach that goes with just about any makeup look.  LOVE.

Lip Pencil in Whirl, $16

Unless you've been living under a rock then you're probably aware of the 90's/Kylie Jenner makeup trend/fascination.  Matte mauve-brown lips are all the rage right now, and this lip pencil is just that.

Tinted Lipglass in Bared For You, $15
(A Novel Romance limited edition)

A gorgeous shimmery nude Lipglass.  To be so shimmery you would think you would be able to feel the sparkles on your lips when you wear this, but surprisingly enough you can't.  One thing I will mention though, as the color and shine wear off in this product, there are some sparkles/shimmers left on your lips.  So if you're not a fan of that then you might not want to try this.  I, however, don't mind that in the least, especially considering how absolutely gorgeous this product is.

Eye Kohl in Costa Riche, $16

I have never been a fan of dark and/or black eyeliners in the waterline.  It looks okay on some people, but overall I think it just makes everyone's eyes look so much smaller and I simply don't care for it.  Here is my one exception.  MAC's Costa Riche is a gorgeous reddish brown eye kohl that looks lovely in the waterline.  Kim Kardashian made this famous (of course), and this warm toned brown liner is super flattering on us brown-eyed gals.  It's not too harsh and it doesn't irritate my already super sensitive eyes.  As I mentioned before, I think dark liners in the waterline tend to make everyone's eyes look smaller.  And even though I have really big eyes, that's something I just don't like or want.  I don't feel that this liner really does that.  It gives you the dramatic smokey effect you're desiring, without being too harsh.  I think this is something I will wear a lot in the upcoming Fall and Winter months.

Powder Blush in Animal Instincts, $22
(A Novel Romance limited edition)

Such a perfect Fall blush!  My favorite blushes in the colder months are definitely plum toned ones, and this one is no exception.  Love it!!!!

Lipstick in Syrup, $16

Described as a cloudy pink, MAC's Syrup has been one of my favorite purchases from MAC that I have ever made.  How did I live this long without this lipstick????  Ugh.  A beautiful, slight plummy shade that is perfect for Fall, but light enough to wear all throughout the year.  I will repurchase this for as long as MAC makes it.

Bitten Eyeshadow Pan, $5.99
Cupcake Eyeshadow Pan, $5.99

I adore MUG eyeshadows, and I tend to purchase a few new ones every month to add to my collection.  These two are to die for.

Jouer Lipstick in Grace, $22

I was watching a random video on YouTube several weeks ago and the girl was wearing this lipstick.  I can't remember who it was, but it looked SO pretty on her....so of course I had to have it.  Grace is such a pretty orange-coral-pink lipstick!  I haven't worn it myself, as I am starting to gravitate towards more deeper/neutral shades given the time of year.  But, I will definitely break this bad boy out in the Spring or whatever.  Even throughout the Fall and Winter months sometimes I will swipe on a bright lipstick to liven things up a bit.  This would be perfect for that!

Revlon ColorStay Gel Envy Nail Enamel in Up the Ante, $7.99
Revlon ColorStay Gel Envy Diamond Top Coat, $7.99

Revlon ColorStay Gel Envy Nail Enamel in Checkmate

These Revlon Gel Envy polishes are great.  They are super strong and I don't notice any chipping for at least a week.  Up the Ante is a really pretty creamy orchid-purple shade, and Checkmate is a perfect nude.  My favorite is Checkmate, but I generally like nude nails more than bright ones.  Just my personal preference!

L'Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow in Golden Sage, $7.99

The L'Oreal Infallible eyeshadows are the best eyeshadows you can get at the drugstore, in my opinion.  This beautiful green shade is the newest to my collection, and it is perfect.  Green is super flattering on brown eyes, and I think this will be great to wear this Fall <3

Tree Hut Shea Moisturizing Body Wash in Almond & Honey, $5.99

Tree Hut Shea Body Butter in Almond & Honey, $7.49

More Tree Hut goodies.  I adore this brand and this particular scent!

TopCare Skin Treatment Oil

This is the knockoff store brand of Bio-Oil that I picked up at my local grocery store.  I bought this to try to get rid of a scar on my foot from where I fell back in early Spring.  So far so good, it's really lightening it up and hopefully it will help me get rid of something I hate so much.

Random hair clips from Wal-Mart.  I am constantly buying and losing these, who knows where they all end up.  But, I really like this size and shape of a clip.

Softlips Cube 5-in-1 Lip Care in Vanilla Bean, $3.49

One of the best drugstore lip balms out there.  I have this in Blueberry Pomegranate as well, and that one is definitely my favorite.  The Vanilla Bean one is good too, just not as good as the blueberry one.

I have purchased both of these products twice since Spring this year.  This has basically been my go-to sunscreens this year.  I especially like the face one from Hawaiian Tropic.  Their stuff always smells so darn good.

Pink twinkle lights for one of my guest rooms (which is the one that is also my beauty room!!!)

Thanks for checking this out guys!  Let me know what new products you're loving! xoxoxo -
