Hey guys! Today I thought I would share with you my latest beauty discovery and obsession, the best skincare product I have ever used. While I don't have too much going on with my skin age-wise, this stuff has really made a difference! The product I am talking about is the NeriumAD skincare line. If you haven't ever heard of this stuff I will give you a brief overview, and I am going to include some before and after photos, as well as where you can get it. This blog is not sponsored and I have no affiliation with Nerium International whatsoever. This is a product that I purchase myself, so my opinions are 100% honest and sincere. That being said, let's get into the review. We will start with the basics....
NeriumAD - What Is It?
NeriumAD (Age Defying Treatment) is a skincare line by Nerium International. Dr. Robert A. Newman, Ph.D., founder and co-director of the Pharmaceutical Development Center at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, is basically the one who researched and developed this product. The active ingredient in it is the NAE-8 extract from the Nerium Oleander plant. Nerium Oleander has been used for more than 1500 years for a variety of conditions including: dermatitis, herpes, eczema, psoriasis, sores, abcesses, warts, ringworm, scabies, and the list goes on and on. Originally used for it's anti-cancer, anti-viral, and immune-stimulating properties, it was by accident the anti-aging/age-defying properties were discovered. The NeriumAD Age Defying Treatment was made after 10 years of research and clinical testing. Full of powerful antioxidants, this product feels amazing on your skin. It is super gentle and safe (even for the pregnant ladies), as scientific research proves it does not cross over into your bloodstream. I could go on and on about the chemical properties of this product, but I think you catch my drift. Let's move on.

The Products - What You Get
NeriumAD currently consists of 3 basic products: a day cream, a night cream, and a body contouring cream. On their website it says they are coming out with some additional products soon (eye cream, brightening cream, and a contouring lotion). As of right now though, your day and night creams are the only things you use on your face. That's it. They serve as your toner, serum, moisturizer, eye cream, the whole shebang. I really like the simplicity in that.
As much as it broke my heart to do a swatch of my creams, I did for this blog post, lol. You can't really tell a whole lot about the products in this picture, but I just wanted you to see them. The day cream has the texture of any basic moisturizer. It's really soft and creamy and easy to apply. It moisturizes your skin SO well but it doesn't leave you greasy. I love that! The night cream is unlike any moisturizer I have ever used before though. It is really thick and gooey, similiar to a glue consistency? However, it is on the directions that this is to be applied to damp skin. The second this hits slightly damp skin, it goes on effortlessly. It softens right up and applies like any other moisturizer. This is by far my favorite product in the NeriumAD line. The NeriumFirm cream is the newest product in the line. Designed to go on the body, this can actually be used on the face and neck as well. It is a heavenly product that really tightens and firms the skin, and I dab it around my eyes for an added eye cream too.

When you start using the NeriumAD skincare line, it is recommended that you do before and after photographs. A lot of people do before and afters after the first use even, because they can already tell a difference! I took a before photo of me, as you can see here...
As you can see, while I've got some enlarged pores on my cheeks and maybe slight creasing under my eyes, I don't really have any aging issues at this point. I am 35 years old, so while my skin is not that of a 20 year old, it really doesn't have any definite signs of aging. So, I did not do an 'After' photo, because I thought it would do more harm than good, simply because I don't have a lot of issues to correct. I think you yourself notices your flaws and imperfections more than anyone, especially when you examine your skin under 7x magnification and so forth, lol. So to me I see quite a bit of improvement, mainly in my texture, reduced pore size, etc. But, so you can see the real effectiveness of the product, I am going to include some photos from the Nerium website and other distributors so you can see just what it is capable of doing.

In summary, I think this is a great product that is very gentle but still gives you results. I have used this product for about 6 weeks now, and I feel that I can give you an honest opinion at this point. I did NOT want my name associated with this or any product for that matter, unless I really used it and had a chance to test it out before forming an opinion. I am not getting anything in return for this review, this is simply my thoughts on this new and amazing product!
