The Power Of Makeup!

Hey guys!  Today I thought I'd do a before and after with my makeup application.  I am super comfortable with a 100% bare face, but there is no denying how much better makeup makes you look.  On the left I am only wearing a daily moisturizer with SPF, and on the right I am obviously wearing a full face of makeup.  My hair is clean and air dried (overnight) on the left, and on the right it is in a top knot.  I didn't do a whole lot to get ready, but there is quite a difference.  These photos were taken this morning before church, and the makeup look only took about 15 minutes.  Here's everything I used...

I didn't feel like doing foundation so I just did a single pump of the It Cosmetics CC+ cream followed by some of my Marc Jacobs O!Mega Bronze, Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder (in Luminous Light), and Nars blush in Sin (ironic I chose this blush to wear to church, haha).  The eye look is basically just the Maybelline Color Tattoo Leather in Dramatic Black.  To create the dramatic line on my lower lash line I just used a small angled liner brush with some of the cream shadow.  I did a wing on the upper lid with the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper, and finished the eyes with a coat of the Jordana Best Lash Extreme Mascara.  Since I smudged the black cream eyeshadow all over my eye and had such a smoky look, I kept everything really plain/nude on the lips.  Lipstick is Nars Honolulu Honey and lip gloss is YSL Golden Gloss in #20.  I generously spritzed my face with the Urban Decay De-Slick setting spray to finish everything off.  SUPER easy and simple but it actually looked like something that took a while to do!

Thanks for stopping by today and have a great week everybody!
