Ole Henricksen: The Whole Truth Vitamin C Kit

Hey guys!  I recently picked up a skincare set from Sephora and wanted to share it with you today!

It's The Whole Truth Vitamin C Kit from Ole Henricksen.  I have tried a lot of stuff from the line, and I have personally found that I really, really, really enjoy Ole Henricksen products.  The reason I chose this set is because (1) I was in the market for daytime products and (2) I wanted Vitamin C based products.  As far as skincare goes I always do 4 steps:  wash, serum, moisturizer, eye cream.  This set has everything I was looking for!

You get:
0.5oz Truth Serum Collagen Booster
1.0oz Truth Creme Advanced Hydration
0.1oz Total Truth Eye Cream

A 5 source Vitamin C complex for collagen production to brighten and minimize fine lines, prevent free radical damage, that is enriched with green tea extract and hyaluronate to nurture and nourish.
(from the Sephora site)
How the complex works:
- Orange extract supports natural cell turnover and purifies.
- Grapefruit extract brightens with antiseptic and aromatic qualities.
- Rose hips seed extract heals, repairs damage, and soothes.
- Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate is very stable, safe, and non-irritating—the key to production of collagen.
- Ester-c (Calcium Ascorbate) is a highly stable natural form of vitamin C found naturally in the body.

Calms, heals, brightens, and boosts collagen with multi-level hydration.  Delivers powerful anti-aging benefits, promotes cell turnover, evens skintone, and helps to eliminate fine lines and wrinkles.

Richly textured eye cream formulated with Omega 3 extracts that nourish and hydrate the skin, diminishing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.  Micro algae and tri-peptide 5 strengthen and firm, and broad spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreen protects against sun damage.  This eye cream is really thick and moisturizing and I LOVE the way it feels on my skin!

You get really generous amounts and all of them are good for almost 2 years, so that's great!
Also worth mentioning, all of these products are paraben, sulfate, and phthalate FREE.  Nothing but goodness for your skin!  The only other items I received in this order were my samples and a Giorgio Armani trio set that I used a coupon code to get.  (VIBTRIO)

I have really been wanting to smell this perfume, it's the Replica Beach Walk.  Sounded so good for Summer!  It does in fact smell really, really good, but it smells SO much like a perfume I already have.  Michael Kors released a few limited edition perfumes a couple of years ago and one of them was the Hawaii scent.  I still have over half a bottle left of that and they smell very similar, so I won't be purchasing this perfume.  Not right now anyways :-)

I have already used this actually.  I generally love anything with Rose or Vitamin C in it and this had both.  Where I'm using some new products I'm not sure if this is what done it, but the next morning after using this my skin looked so good.  I mean, my skin never looks grrrreat, but I could tell a difference.

Even though I have oily skin, I love using facial oils.  Can't wait to try this one.

And lastly, the Giorgio Armani trio gift set.  I am pretty sure this was for Rouge members only, but the coupon code was VIBTRIO if you are interested in trying to get it.  I am not sure if it's still available or not!  I did a blog post on this gift set where I went a little more in detail about the items if you want to check that out.  Basically you get 3 deluxe size samples of some of their most popular items:  the Fluid Sheer, a mini Lip Maestro, and a tube of their Black Ecstasy Mascara.

Hope you enjoyed and I hope this gives you some ideas for some things you may be in the market for.  Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend everybody!!!  xo.
