Hey guys! Quick look of the day inspired by the gorgeous new month we have just entered, delightfully beautiful and sunny June. With all the foliage and flowers in bloom, I couldn't help but get inspired to do a June makeup look. A soft pinky-nude lip with a coral-pink blush, paired with soft and sexy pinks and purples for the eye look. If you are interested in seeing how I got this look, then please just follow along below!
(pictured in LE packaging from the Marilyn Monroe collection, but is a permanent shade)
Even though this is labeled as a powder foundation, I just use the tiniest amount to sweep across my face to set my makeup.
For the eyes: I used In The Buff on my brow bone and around the tear duct. I mixed Birthday Suit and Fuzzy Handcuffs and put that on my lid, then used Garter Belt to blend out the crease. I deepened the outer crease with Voulez-Vous and also used that to smoke out the lower lash line. After I was finished I dabbed a little bit of Satin Sheets on the center of my lid to brighten the look up a little bit.
As mentioned above, Pure Zen is a permanent lipstick shade from MAC that you can get anytime. This particular tube was a limited edition release from the Marilyn Monroe collection. I never use lipliner, but I am really making an effort to use up some of my makeup so I used this. Dervish is one of my favorite lipliners that I own, I will definitely be using this more.
I used the (discontinued) Lash Perfection mascara by Covergirl. Too bad this is no more, it is such a great mascara! I lined my upper eyelid with a thin swipe of the liquid Tattoo Liner, and I used the Nars pencil liner in my waterline and tightline.

I spent the day with my family! This is my beloved grandmother. So blessed to have shared the day with her <333
The 3 amigos - me with the aunt and the granny!
Even though I chose to smoke things out a bit, I love the soft and sexy look of the pinks and the purples in this look. You wouldn't have to necessarily go this dramatic with the eyes if you didn't want to, you could recreate this look to any intensity level you wished.
Thanks for stopping by guys! xo...
