Summer Candles And Scents!

Hey guys!  My favorite scent of all time has to be pumpkin, so I tend to go hog-wild with it in the Fall and Winter seasons.  Well, that has been the only kind of candles I've had for months now, and I set out on a mission for a great Spring candle.  I wanted something sweet and light not heavy and rich.  When I think of Spring and Summer I think coconut or maybe a light floral.  I fir st went to BBW to see what they had, and I have to say, I was really disappointed in most of them.  There were a few I liked okay, but nothing really jumped out at me.  My favorite scent they have is the Marshmallow Fireside, but I wanted something more Springy than that.  I next went to Yankee Candle and found the perfect one...

Summer Scoop is a strawberry ice-cream flavored candle.  Smells so good!  Yankee Candles are kind of expensive, but they had a buy one get one 50% off sale.  So, not too bad.  I've really been enjoying this and couldn't be happier with my selection.

I love their car vent sticks.  I bought a few packs of them and shared them with my cousin, pictured here is Coconut Bay and Vanilla Cupcake.

Marshmallow scented anything is like, DELICIOUS.  So, I picked up 3 of the Tarts Wax Melts.

I also found these big candles by Better Homes and Gardens at Wal-Mart.  Both are in Creamy Tahitian Coconut and they smell so good.  They fit perfectly in my BBW candle holders and I don't feel as bad about burning these bad boys like 20 hours a day lol.

So yeah, I have somewhat of an obsession with wax melts.  The Better Homes and Gardens ones are great.  Every morning as I come through the house I pour out the melted wax from the wax melt the day before, and toss a new one in.  Again, where I use a new one everyday, I don't care to use these so quickly.  They are relatively cheap and readily available.  I don't have a BBW or Yankee Candle near me, so I use those a little more conservatively when I have them, simply  because I don't know when I'll get more.  The newest scents I've picked up are By The Pool (Splash/Coconut), Creamy Tahitian Coconut, and Sun-Kissed Tulips.  My favorite out of those is the By The Pool duo, specifically the blue one (Splash).

And my old stand-by, the Orange Buttercream Cupcake.  I've used these for a couple of years now.  This wax melt smells JUST like Fruit Loops.  A great scent for spring and summer, it's light and so delicious!
