Charlotte Tilbury Mini Miracle Eye Wand

Hey guys!  Today I am actually going to talk about a product I did not like at all.  And it's so surprising, because I've really loved every other item I've ever bought from this brand.  The product I am talking about is the Mini Miracle Eye Wand by Charlotte Tilbury.

The Mini Miracle Eye Wand is a double ended product that has an eye cream on one end and a light reflective concealer type product on the other end.  This sounded absolutely perfect, as both of these products were designed to firm up and lighten the under eye area.  It just didn't work great for me.

I think the eye cream on this wand is good, it works just fine.  But, no matter how I tried to make the light reflector or concealer end work for me, it just didn't.  It actually accentuated the fine lines I have under my eyes.  It clung to different areas under my eye and always looked like I didn't blend it out.  I tried it with my finger, with a Beauty Blender, and with a brush.  I tried it on bare skin, on top of the eye cream, on top of the eye cream and a foundation, you name it.  No matter how I used this it never did look nice.  Oh to be 20 years old again and not have any crepiness or signs of aging under the eyes.  I have 37 year old skin (and not only that, 37 year old completely natural skin - zero fillers or botox or anything like that).  A 20 year old can put on anything and it will look good, but at this point I have to be selective about what I use.  Unfortunately, this was a total no-go for me.
:-(

I ordered this product from Nordstrom and I was able to sample Charlotte Tilbury's Magic Cream as well.  This was HEAVENLY.  I absolutely loved it.  So luxe and so moisturizing, I would LOVE to have a tub of this.

Dior Addict Lip Glow sample that came with the order.

And a MAC mascara sample that I received as well.
It's rare that I come across products that just simply do not work for me, but it does happen.  I am going to use the eye cream, I just won't be using the light reflector end anymore.  (Unless I can come up with another use for it).  Let me know if you've tried this and if it works for you.  If you have any suggestions or tips for me concerning this product I would certainly love to hear it!
