Labor Day Weekend 2015 In Vegas!

Hey guys!  We just got back from a long weekend in Vegas spent celebrating Labor Day and I thought I would come on here and share some of it with you.  We had a blast - everything from delicious food to lots of live entertainment.  We always visit Vegas at least once a year, there is always SO much to do.  If you're interested to see how we spent our time this go-round, just follow along <3

We got into town really early (8am), so I spent the first day shopping and walking around to my usual stops I like to visit when I'm there.  That night we had dinner at Top of the World, located in the Stratosphere.  This was our first time eating there and it was unlike any other restaurant we've ever been to.  This restaurant is over 800 feet above the Vegas strip and it revolves 360 degrees every hour.  It literally revolves - allowing you to see miles and miles and miles of the desert.  Also neat, every now and then you see people shooting past the window doing the SkyJump!

We went up to the outdoor observation deck after dinner.  Beautiful views!

The first show I seen while in town was Boyz II Men.  Oh my goodness....this was the highlight of my trip!  (I also went to see Penn & Teller, you can see my ticket in the 2nd photo).  I had purchased my ticket ahead of time and was able to get a VIP pass with a meet and greet.  Love that they autographed my lanyard!

These boys..err...men are fabulous.  We are talking ridiculously talented.  They sound perfect live, they literally had me swooning in my seat.

Front row center, I couldn't have had better tickets!

If you ever get a chance to go and see these guys, DO IT.  They are class acts and will knock your socks off they are so good.  Definitely the highlight of my trip!

The 2nd day of my stay I went to a pool party at the Foxtail Pool at SLS Las Vegas (located on the northern part of the strip).  Fetty Wap and Lil Wayne both performed!

It was ridiculously hot and I swear I just about had a heat stroke, but it was also super fun!

That night we went to dinner at one of our regulars, Sushi Samba, and then we headed on over to the Rio to watch Penn & Teller.  Pictured above is Penn with our friend Brandon that went with us on the trip.

I highly recommend going and seeing this show.  I think it says a lot about these guys that they come straight out of the show and take the time to greet all of the fans.  This might be the only show I know of where they graciously come out for a meet and greet free of charge.  Plus, it was super entertaining!

While the guys spent our 3rd day gambling and in poker tournaments, I spent most of the day walking around and shopping.  My favorite thing I got this trip?  My new LV Neverfull!  I always get questions about where I like to shop when I go to Vegas and it's definitely the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian (which is the hotel we stayed in) and the Fashion Show Mall.  I usually spend the majority of my time going to shows and in either of these two locations.

(Frozen hot chocolates at Serendipity 3, a must every single time we are in town)

(Surf & Turf at Top of the World)

(The infamous Banana Cream Pie at Delmonico's in the Venetian)

Here is a super short video of some of our trip if you are interested in seeing that as well.  Thanks for stopping by today and for sharing our great weekend with us!
