Fall MOTD: Smokey Maroon

Hey guys!  Today I thought I would share with you a perfect maroon smokey eye look.  I would wear this look anytime/anywhere, but I think it's especially great for Fall.  I recently wore this to a birthday dinner for David with my family and I received loads of compliments on it.  So if you're interested in recreating this look, see below for a list of products that I used.

Make Up For Ever HD Foundation, Rimmel Stay Matte powder, Benefit Hoola bronzer, CG Cheekers blush in True Plum, Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Luminous Light, Anastasia Brow Wiz in Soft Brown, Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade in Chocolate, Nars eyeshadow base, Makeup Geek Bitten eyeshadow (outer 1/3 of eyelid, outer corner worked up into crease, lower lashline), Makeup Geek Cupcake eyeshadow (to blend out crease and to blend out lower lashline), Stila Kitten on lid, Makeup Geek Mirage eyeshadow on browbone, Loreal Voluminous Smoldering eyeliner in brown in upper and lower waterlines, Maybelline Rocket Volum' mascara, Maybelline Lust For Blush lipstick, MAC Florabundance lipglass, UD de-slicked setting spray.  *Natural lashes - I have NEVER used falsies!

I normally do a simple cat-eye with my liner, but sometimes it gets bigger than you'd initially planned on doing.  Oh well, what better time to rock a dramatic cat eye than on or near Halloween??

This was my initial reaction when I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror after my makeup was done and I noticed how dramatic (for me) the cat eye eyeliner was.  In order to somewhat mask it, I actually put on 2 coats of mascara and went for really bold lashes.  (I normally only do a single coat).  When your lashes really stand up and are bold and black, the liner blends right in :-)

Hope you guys enjoyed!  Any questions just let me know.  Happy Fall, Y'all!
